Troubleshooting Steps

1. Camera cannot connect to Wi-Fi

 

• Confirm you entered the correct Wi-Fi password.
• If using 5GHz Wi-Fi, ensure your router supports 5GHz 802.11n mode.
• Move the camera closer to the router to improve signal strength.
• Reboot the camera and router, then try pairing again.

 

2. Glare/reflection on the screen

 

• Use the included large anti-glare sticker.
• Clean the glass surface thoroughly before installation.
• Avoid placing the camera directly facing strong light sources (lamps, streetlights).

 

3. Night vision is not clear

 

• Ensure there is at least dim ambient light (F1.0 lens works best with low light, not complete darkness).
• Clean the camera lens to remove dust or fingerprints.
• Adjust the camera angle to avoid facing bright lights at night.

 

4. No motion alerts received

 

• Enable push notifications in the VSees app.
• Allow notifications for the VSees app in your phone settings.
• Adjust the AI detection sensitivity in the app settings.

 

5. Cannot find recorded footage

 

• Check if the micro SD card is properly inserted and formatted to FAT32.
• Confirm the recording schedule is set to “continuous” or “motion-triggered”.
• Verify the date and time settings on the camera are correct.
