We offer flexible configurations to suit different installation scenarios. Some customers may already have compatible power supplies or require a centralized power solution, so standalone cameras are sold without a power adapter. We recommend purchasing a DC12V/2A security-specific power adapter or choosing a kit with centralized power.

1. How is the night vision performance of this camera?
It is equipped with 6 infrared LEDs (850nm visible light) for up to 24m night vision. The ICR infrared filter auto-switches between day (color) and night (black-and-white) modes, with a minimum illumination of just 0.1Lux (when infrared LEDs are activated).
2. What smart features does the camera support?
It supports motion detection, human detection, vehicle detection, and privacy masking (up to 5 customizable zones), but these features require the paired DVR to function. It also supports alarm linkage, triggering APP notifications and email alerts.
3. Can this camera be used outdoors?
Yes. With an IP66 waterproof and dustproof rating, it operates in temperatures from -10°C to 55°C and humidity ≤90% (non-condensing), making it suitable for rain, snow, and dusty environments.
4. Does it support audio recording?
Yes. The built-in microphone enables synchronous audio and video recording via coaxial audio transmission, delivering clear sound capture.(need to work with the compatible dvr)

1. What installation methods are available?
It supports both wall mounting and ceiling mounting. Mounting screws and accessories are included in the package for flexible installation angles.
2. How do I pair the camera with the DVR?
The 303 Camera uses TVI video format and connects directly to the 8-Channel 8MP N-Series DVR via BNC coaxial cable. The DVR automatically detects the signal, enabling plug-and-play functionality without complex setup.
3. Is the included hard drive in the kit sufficient for storage?

The 1TB surveillance hard drive in the kit supports approximately 2-4 days of continuous recording (with 8 cameras at 8MP resolution, variable bitrate ~2560kbps). For longer retention, you can upgrade to a larger capacity drive (e.g., 2TB/4TB).

IV. Usage & Maintenance
1. How do I adjust picture settings?
You can adjust brightness, chroma, saturation, and contrast, or switch between HD/SD modes through the DVR’s menu interface.
2. Is it normal for the infrared LEDs to stay on?
Yes. When ambient light drops below the threshold (day→night <2Lux; night→day >4Lux), the ICR filter automatically switches, and the infrared LEDs activate—this is a normal night vision trigger.
3. How do I clean the camera lens?
Use a dry, soft lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens. Avoid alcohol or cleaning agents, as they may damage the lens coating. For stubborn dirt, use a blower to remove dust first, then wipe with a lens cloth.
