Ethernet cable to router

Is there a way to hook the DVR up to the router wirelessly? Without using the Ethernet cable?

  I dont think there is with most models. However there are many ways you could make it wireless.

  you could buy a cheap router and have a wireless connection between the your main router and the router and have your dvr connected trough a short ethernet cable.

  you also could use Ethernet over Power adapters or something like that i think this is the more reliable option.

  Im not sure if any usb wireless adapter would be compatible. the embeded software may not support wireless adapters.
