Q: How far is the night vision distance of the ATC-2208B-xx Camera?
A: Built-in high-power infrared LEDs with a night vision distance up to 24 meters. Equipped with ICR automatic infrared filter switch, it switches day/night mode automatically to provide clear monitoring even in total darkness.
3. Lens & Viewing Angle
Q: What lens and viewing angle does the ATC-2208B-xx Camera use?
A: It is equipped with a 4mm fixed lens, offering a horizontal wide viewing angle up to 90°, covering large monitoring areas and reducing blind spots.

16. Screen Flicker & Lag
Q: Why does ATC-2208B-xx Camera screen flicker or lag?
A: The main causes are insufficient power supply, poor BNC contact or inferior coaxial cable. Please use original 12V power adapter and standard coaxial cable, and fasten BNC connectors tightly.
17. Independent Use Requirement
Q: Can ATC-2208B-xx Camera work alone without DVR?
A: No. ATC-2208B-xx Camera is a TVI wired coaxial camera. It must be used with a compatible TVI DVR for preview, recording and PTZ control, and cannot work independently.
18. Infrared LED Always On in Daytime
Q: The infrared LED stays on even in daytime, how to solve it?
A: Check if the lens is covered or placed in a dark corner causing light sensing misjudgment; restore DVR image settings to default; inspect whether the power voltage is unstable.
19. Video System Format
Q: What signal system does ATC-2208B-xx Camera support?
A: It defaults to PAL system with stable image and no rolling screen, compatible with most mainstream DVRs and monitors on the market.
20. Common Troubleshooting
Q: The image is blurry or has noise, how to fix it?
A: Clean the lens surface to remove dust and fingerprints; check BNC cable connection and power stability; adjust brightness, contrast and sharpness in DVR settings.
Q: Infrared night vision does not turn on automatically?
A: Check if the infrared lens is blocked; confirm the power supply is sufficient; restore DVR image settings to default.
Q: PTZ cannot be controlled?
A: Make sure to use a DVR that supports coaxial PTZ; enable PTZ function in DVR menu; reboot the camera and DVR to reconnect.

Section 3 Troubleshooting
Q19: No image or screen flickering
A:
- Check BNC cable connection and make sure it is tightly connected.
- Confirm camera power supply is sufficient and stable.
- Adjust DVR HDMI/VGA output resolution to match your monitor.
Q20: Hard drive cannot be detected
A:
- Use standard 3.5-inch surveillance SATA hard drive.
- Open DVR case and check internal SATA data cable and power cable connection.
- Enter DVR storage menu to initialize and format the HDD.
Q21: Remote view cannot connect
A:
- Check DVR network cable and router internet status.
- Reboot DVR and router to reset network connection.
- Confirm P2P function is enabled in system settings.
Q22: PTZ cannot be controlled
A:
- Make sure the connected camera supports coaxial PTZ.
- Enable PTZ function in DVR channel setting.
- Reboot DVR and camera then try again.
